Neuberger Berman Group LLC has appointed Leah Modigliani to the newly created position of senior vice president and multi-asset class strategist on the Investment Strategy and Risk team. Modigliani most recently served as an independent investment strategist advising non-profits, foundations and endowments on portfolio construction and management.  Prior to this role, Leah spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley, where she co-developed the M-squared measure of risk-adjusted return for portfolio performance evaluation and designed the stock risk rating system used by Morgan Stanley worldwide.  Leah serves on a variety of committees including the Oberlin College Board of Trustee Investment, the Board of Directors for Youth Communications, and is a member of the Investment Committees for the City & Country School as well as the National Foundation for Research on Women.
