Excelsior, Minn.-based LoCorr Funds has hired Sean Katof as a senior vice president and Peter Tamburrino as an RIA wholesaler.
Katof will lead the firm’s research development team and drive efforts in the development of new products within the alternative marketplace to expand the firm’s offerings. Most recently, he served as director of capital markets at SLOCUM, an institutional consulting firm. Katof has also held positions with Devenir Investment Advisors and INVESCO Funds Group.
As an RIA wholesaler, Tamburrino will build, maintain and service advisor relationships within the registered investment advisor channel, family office, and private banking advisor segments across the eastern U.S. He was most recently with Equinox loas a regional vice president.
