LPL Financial has recognized a California man as the advisor who has been affiliated with the firm longer than any other.
The nation's largest independent broker-dealer announced the firm's longest-tenured advisor is Wayne Warner, founder of Wayne Warner & Associates in Fallbrook, Calif., whose firm has been affiliated with LPL for 39 years.
Warner received the recognition at a recent LPL Financial top advisors conference in Phoenix, Ariz. LPL also noted that Warner is among the firm's top advisors based on annual gross production. Warner's associate, Jayne M. Byrne, CFP, was recognized at the conference for being an advisor with LPL Financial for 30 years.
"It is an honor to be the longest-serving advisor with LPL Financial. I have been providing independent financial advice and guidance since the 1960s and while some may consider me a 'dinosaur,' my clients consider the wealth and depth of experience I am able to provide, with the benefit of many decades of experience on my side, to be a blessing," Warner said.
