MainStay Investments, a New York Life company, is expanding its Institutional Intermediary Business team. John Lloyd has joined the team as managing director and head of the Research Platform Group. Formerly, Lloyd was a managing director and Head of Portfolio Solutions at Credit Suisse Securities LLC, and Investment Consulting Solutions for Credit Suisse Private Bank.
Furthermore, MainStay has expanded its Institutional Intermediary Business‘s Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) practice by hiring Jonathan Blaze to lead its wholesaling specialist effort nationwide, and to cover the central region of Chicago. Blaze has 30 years of experience, and previously worked at Thornburg, where he built its DCIO business into one of the largest in the industry.
