Mariner Holdings, an independent financial services firm, has launched Mariner Consulting, a tax advisory affiliate to provide tax consulting and planning services for high-net-worth clients, Mariner Holdings announced Monday.
Managing partners Robert Soza, CPA, and Stephen Creed, CPA, will lead Mariner Consulting. Mariner Consulting will start at the Mariner Holdings offices in Leawood, Kan., and Tulsa, Okla., and then will expand to other markets where Mariner Holdings has a presence.
To support this expansion Mariner Consulting will hire up to 12 tax professionals as managers, senior managers, tax seniors and tax staff.
Mariner Consulting is the latest in a series of expansions by the parent company. Others include the launch of Mariner Retirement Advisors, which provides 401(k) advisory services to plan sponsors, and Mariner Trust Company, which supports clients with trust and estate planning solutions.
