Consilium Associates, an independent advisory firm in Alpharetta, Ga., is joining Merit Financial Advisors LLC, also in Alpharetta, on the LPL Financial LLC platform, LPL announced Monday.
Kirk Wilkerson and Andy Lubben, the advisory team at Consilium, manage $185 million in client assets. The addition by Merit is part of its continuing expansion plans, Merit says.
Wilkerson and Lubben provide fee-based financial services primarily for divorcees and widows. The pair also has created Women Renewed to provide financial education for widowed and divorced women and to connect them to other resources in their community.
