Charles Munger, the vice chairman at Berkshire Hathaway Inc., dismissed Republican Donald Trump’s qualifications to be president.

Munger, 92, responded to a question Wednesday at the annual meeting of his Daily Journal Corp. about whether a person who couldn’t make money in the gaming industry would be a good fit for the top office in the U.S.

“Well, he did make money for quite a while,” Munger said. “My attitude is that anybody who makes money running a casino is not morally qualified.”

Munger advocates long-term investing rather than speculation, and at last year’s Daily Journal gathering he criticized politicians who rely on revenue from casinos or lotteries to balance their budgets. He also faulted some Wall Street practices.

“What do you think a derivatives trading desk is? It’s a casino in drag,” he said in 2015. “They make the witch doctors look good.”
