Three new members have been elected to the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Board of Directors, the fee-only advisor organization announced.

James Cantrell, Stephen Craffen and Roger Pine were elected by the board for the 2015-2016 term.

Cantrell, a financial advisor with more than 20 years of experience, is founder and principal of Financial Strategies Inc. in Brookfield, Wis.

Craffen founded Stonegate Wealth Management LLC. In Oakland, N.J., in 1993. Stonegate manages about $130 million in assets.

Pine is a financial planner with Briaud Financial Advisors, which has offices in Austin and College Station, Texas.

NAPFA Chairman Bob Gerstemeier said the new board members “bring fresh talent, expertise and energy to the table. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to address critical industry challenges head on, and develop new ways to increase member satisfaction.”
