The American College has appointed Heather Gee as philanthropy exchange director for the institution's Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) program from which more than 550 professionals have attained their CAP designation since its inception. Gee, who previously served as vice president for development and donor services with The Philadelphia Foundation, spearheaded the asset development and donor engagement efforts of its $270 million community foundation, bringing in tens of millions of philanthropic dollars for local and national causes. Additionally, Gee has served in various senior level fundraising positions at the University of Baltimore School of Law, United Way of Central Maryland, the Dallas Symphony and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., is the nation's largest non-profit educational institution devoted to financial services. The College has served as a valued business partner to banks, brokerage firms, insurance companies and others for over 84 years.
