Commonfund, an institutional investment firm serving nonprofit institutions and pension funds, has named Stephen Wagenbach director of consultant relations. Based in Wilton, Conn., he will lead efforts in the Midwest region. An experienced institutional relationship manager, Wagenbach has worked at several firms, including Schroder Investment Management and Investment Solutions.

Tiedemann Wealth Management has expanded its client services and business development team with the appointment of Jennifer Mitchell as a managing director.  Based in New York, Mitchell has over 20 years experience in wealth management and financial services, most recently as managing director at Barclays Wealth and previously as managing director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Sage Consulting and Wealth Preservation in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., has hired Harry Wise as a senior consultant. Wise has over 35 years of executive level experience in the financial services industry and has created investment partnerships in conjunction with multiple family offices. He has held positions with Citibank, McKinsey & Co., Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company and Source Capital.

Gresham Partners has hired Wallace Head as vice chairman and principal of the firm. Head will lead strategic initiatives to grow the business, raise Gresham's national visibility, and serve as a senior advisor to wealthy individuals and families. Prior to joining Gresham, Head established Personal Fiduciary Advisors LLC, which will become a subsidiary of Gresham. Head has also served in senior level positions with numerous firms, including The PrivateBank and Trust Company, Family Office Exchange LLC, Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Citi Private Bank has announced that Michael Sak has joined the firm's Chicago office as vice president and law Firm group private banker. Sak comes from JP Morgan Chase, where he was most recently a vice president in the firm's Private Wealth Management Group.
