Citi Private Bank has hired Gil Ahrens as director and ultra-high-net-worth private banker in the firm's Palo Alto, Calif., office. Ahrens joins Citi from JP Morgan, where he was most recently a director in the firm's private wealth management group working with venture capital and investment banking clients.

Fortigent, a Rockville, Md., based provider of outsourced wealth management, has introduced its new Investor Billing Solution and End Client Access Portal. These two additions to the Fortigent Access technology platform contain features catering specifically to the needs of high-net-worth clients. This is the third major enhancement to Fortigent's Access technology platform this year.

HighTower's Pagnato-Karp Group, based in Washington D.C., has named David Nelson as a private wealth advisor. Nelson, most recently a member of Merrill Lynch's Global Wealth Management Group, specialized in financial planning, portfolio design, and investment management for ultra-high-net-worth families and institutional clients.

U.S. Bank's Private Client Reserve has made the following three promotions:
Michael Oehler has been promoted from regional financial planner to senior trust officer of The Private Client Reserve in the greater Sacramento, Calif., area. Previously with Wells Fargo, Oehler also served as a private practice attorney working with clients on estate and tax planning and trusts.

Sandra Fleming has been promoted to the role of Florida market leader for The Private Client Reserve, responsible for the Palm Beach and Naples offices. Previously, Fleming served as region president and portfolio manager with Wilmington Trust Florida, where she managed multiple offices and more than $2 billion in assets.
Anne Donahue has been promoted to New York market leader for The Private Client Reserve.  Donahue brings 25 years of banking experience to her new post, previously serving with BNY Mellon, Citi and Chase Bank.
