U.S. Bank has expanded its Private Client Reserve with the following two hires:
Michael Millman has been appointed senior vice president and wealth management advisor for The Private Client Reserve in San Francisco. With more than 17 years of private banking and financial planning experience, Millman most recently served as senior vice president and wealth advisor for Wells Fargo Private Bank, and has held senior level advisory positions with Bank of America Private Bank, Fidelity Investments and Charles Schwab & Co.
Joe Weidenbach has been appointed Chicago market leader for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank. In this new position, Weidenbach will lead a team of wealth management professionals providing investment management, private banking, trust and estate services to high-net-worth clients. Previously, Weidenbach served as managing director and market manager for J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Frank Crystal & Company, a strategic risk and insurance advisor headquartered in New York, has changed its name to Crystal & Company after 80 years. The new branding emphasizes the firm's independence and coincides with the launch of its new Web site. The family-owned and operated firm was established on Wall Street in 1933 and has since grown to more than 400 employees operating in 10 locations across the country and serving clients worldwide.

McDermott Will & Emery has added Astrid Owen as a partner in its Private Client Practice Group. Based in the London office, Owen provides the firm with added depth and experience handling trust, tax and wealth transfer matters on an international scale. Previously a partner at Withers, Owen has considerable experience creating wealth holding structures for high-net-worth families and private banks, including planning to protect assets in unstable jurisdictions.
