Harries believes investors are rediscovering the potential power of dividends as an important part of the pursuit of long-term total returns. Global dividend yields are attractive at the moment, he says, relative to other sources of investing income. Moreover, as developing markets mature, more companies in those regions are beginning to issue dividends.
