Bas NieuweWeme has joined Prudential Fixed Income as a managing director, Prudential announced Tuesday.
NieuweWeme will lead the firm’s global client service, consultant relations, distribution, liability-driven investing and marketing teams. Prudential Fixed Income, a global fixed-income manager, is a part of PGIM, the global investment management businesses of Prudential Financial Inc.
NieuweWeme was most recently the head of institutional distribution at Voya Investment Management.
Prudential also announced the retirement of Peter Cordrey, Prudential Fixed Income’s Global Head of product management and distribution. Cordrey will retire in the fourth quarter after a 20-year career with the firm.
