St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James & Associates has added two Chicago-based financial advisors.

James “Jim” McDermott will become senior vice president, investments, while Matthew Gail will serve as vice president, investments. The pair will operate as McDermott Gail Wealth Management Group of Raymond James.

Gail previously worked at Wells Fargo Advisors and McDermott came from Oppenheimer & Co. They managed about $110 million in client assets and had $1.5 million in annual production at their former firms.
