Frank McAleer has been appointed director of retirement solutions at Raymond James Financial. Most recently, McAleer was senior vice president and head of managed and income solutions with Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia, where he led their sales and marketing of managed account, mutual fund and retirement income offerings. He also held various leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, Fidelity, Old Mutual and Planco.
McAleer fills the position held previously by Shannon Reid, who was promoted in May to vice president of private client group education and practice management.
