Pedro Harth-Silva, Luis Alayo and Miguel Rodriguez recently joined the Miami complex of Raymond James & Associates, the employee broker-dealer of Raymond James Financial Inc.

Harth-Silva came to Raymond James from UBS Financial Services, where he managed $105 million in client assets and produced over $1 million in annual fees and commissions. Prior to UBS, Harth-Silva worked at Smith Barney, Barnett Brokerage and Pamco, where he began his career in 1987.

Alayo and Rodriguez both joined the firm from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where they managed $72 million in client assets and had annual fees and commissions of $784,000. Alayo began his career with Raymond James & Associates in 1998 before moving to Citigroup and then Morgan Stanley. Rodriguez began his career with Ameriprise Financial in 2005, later joining Alayo at Morgan Stanley.

Alayo and Rodriguez will serve clients from the Raymond James office in in Miami Beach, and Harth-Silva will serve clients from the Raymond James office in Coral Gables.

Through its three principal broker-dealer subsidiaries, St. Petersburg-based Raymond James Financial has approximately 5,400 financial advisors serving 2 million accounts in 2,400 locations throughout the United States, Canada and overseas. In addition, total client assets are approximately $271 billion, of which approximately $34.8 billion are managed by the firm's asset management subsidiaries.
