Raymond James today said it has recruited two financial advisors from Wells Fargo to joins its office in Blue Ash, Ohio. David Rodrigo and Jason Goldberg are vice presidents of investments in the branch office of Raymond James & Associates, which is the traditional employee broker-dealer of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James Financial Inc.

The team, which will be known as the Goldberg and Rodrigo Financial Group of Raymond James, managed more than $101 million in client assets and had $900,000 in annual fees and commissions at Wells Fargo.

Rodrigo began his financial services career as a certified public accountant at an international accounting firm. He joined A.G. Edwards in 2006, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors through mergers. He has lengthy experience serving high-net-worth clients, particularly high-end specialists in the medical field.

Goldberg has more than 16 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Raymond James, he worked as a financial advisor at A.G. Edwards before it merged into Wachovia and later Wells Fargo Advisors. He specializes in investment strategies for high-net-worth families, corporate executives and small business owners, with areas of expertise in unique asset strategies, customized retirement planning and multigenerational asset transition.

Stacey King, a registered client associate who previously worked with the team while they were at A.G. Edwards and who until recently worked at LPL, will join Rodrigo and Goldberg.
