The financial advisor team of Robert Powell, Walter Urban and Tyler Mercer recently formed Alpha Capital Partners of Raymond James in Mount Laurel, N.J. The team comes from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where they managed $187 million in client assets and had annual fees and commissions of $1.45 million. Powell, a 40-year industry veteran, serves as senior vice president, investments. Urban and Mercer will serve as vice presidents, investments of the new firm.
