Financial advisors David Kushner, Philip Maurer and Barbara Maurer joined the Newtown, Pa., branch of Raymond James & Associates. The team, also known as M2K Financial of Raymond James, joins from Morgan Stanley, where they managed more than $146 million in client assets and had annual fees and commissions in excess of $935,000.

Kushner, a wealth management specialist, is vice president, investments, for M2K Financial. Kushner specializes in providing tailored financial planning services, including wealth management and college planning, and advises on corporate retirement plans, specifically 401(k) plans. He previously served as second vice president and financial planning specialist at Morgan Stanley.

Philip Maurer focuses on comprehensive financial planning and specialty equity income portfolio management. He began his financial services career 12 years ago, as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities.

Barbara Maurer, Philip’s wife, is a financial advisor and wealth management specialist. She began her career at Merrill Lynch in 1987, where she served as an assistant vice president and supervisor. She worked at several firms, most recently Morgan Stanley, before joining Raymond James.
