Raymond James has recruited financial advisors Dave Kohlhaas, Brad Christiansen and Kristin Rognerud from UBS, where they managed $200 million in assets.

Along with their service associates Gayle Froelich and Lori Greenwalt, the three executives formed Ascential Wealth Advisors, an independent firm in Duluth, Minn.

Ascential Wealth Advisors works with individuals and businesses, providing investment advice and a full range of comprehensive financial planning services, including retirement and estate planning strategies, according to Raymond James. At UBS, the team managed over $200 million in client assets.

Kohlhaas has eight years of experience in the financial services industry, starting his career as the finance director for a national retail company before becoming a financial advisor with Piper Jaffray. In 2006, he joined UBS when they purchased Piper Jaffray.

Christiansen is a 16-year veteran of the financial services industry who started his career as a financial analyst. He joined Piper Jaffray in 1997, before moving to UBS when it purchased Piper Jaffray.

Rognerud has six years experience in the financial services industry. She originally worked at Piper Jaffray before becoming a financial advisor at UBS.
