Raymond James recently recruited Robert Wood (Bob), Robert Wood, Jr., (Rob), and Carlton Brown in Richmond, Va. The team, known as Wood Asset Management of Raymond James, joins from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they had annual fees and commissions of approximately $2 million.

Bob, senior vice president, investments, has more than 30 years of industry experience, having held executive level positions at Prudential Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. He, along with son Rob, formed their team in 1998 while affiliated with Prudential Securities.

Rob, senior vice president, investments, has served as general partner for the team. He is responsible for handling equity and fixed-income investments, client relations and marketing initiatives.

A 30-year industry veteran and former estate planning attorney, Brown, vice president of investments, handles trust, insurance, retirement and estate planning, as well as wealth management. Prior to joining the team, he worked as an attorney and held management-level positions at several firms.

Lola Wright has joined the team as senior client service associate.
