Plante Moran Financial Advisors has been named by the National Association of Plan Advisors as a semifinalist for its 2016 401(k) Advisor Leadership Award.

PMFA is the registered investment advisor affiliate of public accounting and advisory firm Plante Moran, based in Southfield, Mich.

NAPA established the award to recognize a leading financial advisor or team for contributions that exemplify leadership, experience and expertise in the retirement planning industry. Innovation and accomplishments in the field of human capital, or workforce management, will represent the central focus of this year’s award.

“We are honored to be recognized by NAPA for our tailored and holistic approach to retirement planning,” said Mark Dixon, leader of the PMFA institutional investment consulting practice. “PMFA is committed to providing customized 401(k) plan solutions that advance our clients’ goals to help their plan participants prepare for a successful retirement.”

With more than $10.9 billion in assets under management, Plante Moran Financial Advisors is one of the nation’s largest independent RIAs, according to Financial Advisor’s 2015 rankings.
