Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors announced it has added three new members to its board of directors. The New York City-based nonprofit organization advises on and manages more than $200 million in annual giving by individuals, corporations and major foundations, and has facilitated more than $3 billion in grants to nearly 70 countries since its inception in 2002.

The three new members of its board of directors are:

Kyungsun Chung is the founder and CEO of Root Impact, a non-profit focusing on building capacity for the social innovation sector in Korea. Kyungsun has partnered with RPA to fund and co-develop the “Global Philanthropy Accelerators” program for next-generation donors. Prior to founding Root Impact, he was a founding member of the non-profit business team at Asan Nanum Foundation, one of the largest privately endowed foundations in Korea.

Luther Ragin, Jr., is the former president and CEO of the Global Impact Investing Network. He also served as vice president for investments at New York-based F.B. Heron Foundation. Additional positions for Ragin include the chief financial officer of the National Community Capital Association, the chief financial officer of Earl G. Graves, Ltd., and the vice president of syndications/assets sales for the North American corporate finance sector at Chase.

Valerie Rockefeller Wayne is a middle school special education teacher specializing in adolescents with learning and emotional disabilities. She began her teaching career at Central Park East Secondary School in East Harlem, N.Y., and has spent time teaching in Australia. Wayne also served as a confidential assistant to Secretary Richard Riley at the U.S. Department of Education during the first Clinton Administration.
