Art Tambaro, president and chief executive officer of Royal Alliance Associates Inc., will retire at the end of the year and be succeeded by Dmitry Golden, a longtime member of the independent broker-dealer's senior leadership.

The New York-based Royal Alliance made the announcement today. “Art has led Royal Alliance with passion and enthusiasm for the last 22 years, and we wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement,” said Larry Roth, president and CEO of Advisor Group, a network of independent b-ds that includes Royal Alliance. “Dmitry is the ideal person to lead Royal Alliance into the future. His intimate knowledge of our organization and our advisors, coupled with his vast experience in the financial services industry, will serve our firm and our advisors well.”

Goldin has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, including the last 13 at Royal Alliance. He most recently served as senior vice president of business development, supporting advisor relationship management and retention, practice development, recruiting and product sponsor support. He joined Royal Alliance in 2000 as a regional manager and was promoted to a senior management role in 2003. He assumed the role of senior vice president of business development in 2009.

Jeff Planty, vice president of operations, will assume the role of senior vice president of business development. He will work closely with Goldin to further enhance Royal’s services and support to advisors.
