The Summit Financial Strategies, an investment advisory firm with $145 million in assets under management based in Portland, Ore., has joined SCF Securities, an independent broker-dealer in Fresno, Calif., SCF announced Thursday.
The advisor team from The Summit includes Brett Langer, Keith Bandettini, Will Gingell and Beverly Cox. The Summit team is moving from Walnut Street Securities, its former broker/dealer.
Langer says he wanted an independent broker-dealer that could serve his hybrid practice while providing boutique-style back office support and support in the transition. With the addition of The Summit, SCF has assets under management of $945 million.
