The workshop will be held at SEC headquarters in Washington, D.C.—it can also be accessed online—on Thursday, January 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The session will provide insights on assessing and enhancing compliance from SEC’s Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations (OCIE), Division of Investment Management and the Asset Management Unit of the Division of Enforcement.

The topics will range from valuation to private equity to exchange-traded products.

Registration is not necessary to view the training online at www.sec.gov, but it is for professionals planning to attend in-person at SEC headquarters, which is next to the Amtrak terminal at Union Station. To sign up, go to this Web page.

Registering early is advised because attendance is limited to 500, according to the SEC.
