Shenkman Capital Management has hired Richard Keri as senior vice president of business development. Based in New York, he will be responsible for expanding institutional, insurance and private client relationships.

Keri joins the firm from OppenheimerFunds, where he was the head of global private banking. Prior to Oppenheimer, he was with Goldman Sachs for 15 years, where he held various leadership roles across the firm, most recently as head of financial institutions and structured products within Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Shenkman Capital Management is an independent investment management firm that manages assets for a predominantly institutional client base. The firm has offices in New York, N.Y., Stamford, Conn., and London.
