Silver Bridge, a Boston-based independent wealth manager, announced it has agreed to acquire H&S Financial Advisors, a San Francisco-based wealth advisory boutique.

Silver Bridge will simultaneously launch Silver Bridge Family Office Partners, a boutique dedicated exclusively to the needs of high-net-worth families and family offices. Family Office Partners' clients will include families who need help creating their own family office and those seeking ways to manage wealth without establishing their own family office, according to Silver Bridge.

The firm will also offer consulting services and outsourced solutions to help family offices sustain their practice, minimize overhead and gain insight into industry best practices, according to Silver Bridge. The business will also focus on launching a reporting platform to facilitate better communication and decision-making among advisors, according to the firm.

Silver Bridge will have about $2 billion under advisement after the merger, according to Silver Bridge.

Martim de Arantes Oliveira, the former head of H&S, will serve as Silver Bridge's west coast regional director, focusing on multi-generational and entrepreneurial wealth.

The H&S acquisition is expected to close on August 31, according to Silver Bridge.
