Symetra Life Insurance Company has promoted Wes Severin to vice president of key accounts in its retirement sales organization. Severin will be responsible for managing distributor relationships that drive the majority of annuity sales. Previously western divisional sales manager for retirement products, Severin was responsible for sales planning and day-to-day management and training of external wholesalers. Before joining Symetra, Severin was national sales director of financial institution markets at Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company.
