TD Ameritrade Institutional has appointed Jim Dario as its new managing director of product management for advisors, company officials announced today.
In his new position, Dario will lead the strategy for developing and improving technology, practice management and wealth management products for financial advisors. He will also oversee technology integrations, business development tools and investment management products for the more than 4,000 independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) who custody with TD Ameritrade Institutional.
Dario is a familiar face to advisors. Before joining TD Ameritrade, Dario was managing director of business development and relationship management at Pershing Advisor Solutions, where he was responsible for advisor recruiting and business development programs to assist RIAs in growing their businesses. Prior to Pershing, he served as executive vice president of relationship management at Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services, where he led service and relationship management teams that helped RIAs achieve their business goals.
