National Planning Holdings Inc. is the latest broker/dealer network to join the Advisor Center’s recruitment platform, The Advisor Center announced Wednesday.
The Advisor Center allows broker/dealers and RIA firms to promote their organizations to advisors who are considering changing positions within the industry. It is a Web-based platform that gives each subscribing company a presence to advertise their firms to potential recruits. The advisors, for whom the service is free, can explore different firms anonymously.
Firms such as LPL Financial, Pershing Advisor Solutions, Cetera Financial Group and Commonwealth Financial Network are already part of the platform. Each has its own microsite at the Advisor Center where they can show their offerings and opportunities.
National Planning Holdings is a network of four independent broker/dealer firms: Invest Financial Corporation, Investment Centers of America Inc., National Planning Corporation and SII Investments Inc.
Advisors considering a move to another firm share only the information they want to share on the site while exploring what other companies have to offer. A proprietary messaging system allows advisors to engage with companies while remaining anonymous, says Tom Daley, founder and CEO of The Advisor Center.
