Greg Mech has joined The Caprock Group as managing director in charge of its new office in Newport Beach, Calif. With Merrill Lynch for the past 30 years, Mech most recently served as managing director for the firm's global private wealth management business and strategy in the Western U.S. He also served as the market president for Bank of America in Orange County, Calif.
