Still, as we reflect on the days when Russ was regularly getting thrashed in the ring, and getting back up for another round of physical punishment, we realize that the essence of the methodology hasn't changed all that much. Moreover, when we search through history for creators of vast personal fortunes, Money Rules is nothing new. People have been playing some version of The Glass Bead Game for eons.
The biggest difference between then and now is not in the nature of Money Rules. The biggest difference is in the level of precision we can bring as consultants to wealthy clients who are motivated to build on their vast fortunes. With academic rigor and years of experience behind us we've been able to develop highly effective and efficacious pedagogical strategies, tools and techniques for mastering the tenets of Money Rules.
As for the Mistress, she became phenomenally wealthy and was the main reason Russ took that sabbatical from fighting. One of the most enduring lessons she taught us was perhaps best summed up by Oscar Wilde when he said, "True friends stab you in the front."
