Thomas J. Herzfeld Advisors has named Robert Adler to the newly created position of head of distribution. Working in the asset management business for over 25 years, Adler is responsible for creating partnerships and growing assets under management for the firm. Prior to joining Herzfeld Advisors, Adler was an independent investment consultant and was instrumental in developing the Virtus Herzfeld Fund. He has also served as the president of XTF Advisors and was a co-founder of Northstar Investment Management Corp.
