TIAA-CREF has appointed Derek Dorn vice president of public policy and associate general counsel.
Dorn joined TIAA-CREF from the Washington law firm Davis & Harman, where he served as a partner. Previously, he served as staff director of a U.S. Senate finance subcommittee and as counsel to former Sens. Jeff Bingaman and Joe Lieberman.
Based in New York, Derek will develop and implement TIAA-CREF’s public policy agenda, manage the company’s Policy Committee, and represent the company in policy forums.
