Tiger 21 is forming a new group in Boston to be lead by James Cornell, managing partner of Fiduciary Wealth Partners LLC, a private investment advisory and asset management firm for affluent families, Tiger 21 announced Monday.

The Boston group is the 18th formed by Tiger 21, a peer-to-peer educational and networking organization for ultra-high-net-worth investors founded in New York City in 1999. The new Boston organization is expected to draw from the New England area.

Tiger 21 has more than 300 members who collectively manage about $30 billion in investable assets. Tiger 21 members meet monthly to exchange investment ideas and share personal experiences on a broad range of wealth-related topics.

Cornell also is co-founder of Into the Fog, a private peer-to-peer investment group of 20 of the largest family offices in New England.
