TradePMR is developing a new advisor workstation designed that can be used with today’s touch screen devices, the company announced.

The firm will be providing the first demonstration of this new platform during the T3 Conference in Miami. Designed as a touch-first application, the Fusion workstation is optimized for devices such as the iPad, Android, and Microsoft Surface, yet performs equally as well on the current Windows desktop.

“Fusion is the first touch application for advisors that is optimized for mobile and touch screens," said TradePMR CTO Denis Suppe. "We are creating a Web application with a Windows 8 feel that can run in any browser. We are also developing a Windows desktop application. Fusion has a clean, simple interface that displays what advisors need daily, but we don’t clutter the interface with less frequently used functions, although all the functionality is readily accessible to those who need it.”

In Fusion, advisors can prepare for client meetings by pinning statements, performance reports, and other documents to their Fusion start page and then seamlessly detach from the network and utilize their portable device when sitting down with clients.

Another important feature is Fusion's ability to produce comprehensive analytics. A graphical dashboard view of asset allocations, top accounts, trading patterns, and other information is available at advisors’ fingertips, giving them an overview of their firm.
“With Fusion, we are able to draw from many years of productive interaction with advisors and are genuinely excited about incorporating new features and functionally designed to help them better manage their practices,” said Robb Baldwin, president and CEO of TradePMR. “Fusion addresses the mobile computing needs of the current generation of advisors as well as the next.”

Fusion will be released in the third quarter, with the tablet optimized Web version being released shortly thereafter. Fusion Web is targeted for a 2014 release. It will be available at no additional cost to RIA firms. For additional information, visit http://www.tradepmr.com/fusion.
