In support of wounded veterans, Triad Advisors has raised over $46,000 from its advisors and partners for The Independence Fund.

The money will be used to purchase Track Chairs. These all-terrain vehicles allow veterans with limb or spinal injuries the ability to trek through wooded areas, over difficult obstacles, and even through streams.

The money was raised during the broker-dealer’s annual conference in September. “We take every opportunity to support our military heroes. We set a goal of raising $45,000, enough for three of these life-changing chairs,” said Mark Mettelman, Triad’s CEO. “Our advisors and partners, some of the most generous people I’ve met, donated enthusiastically. I’m proud to report that we were able to exceed our goal.”

The Independence Fund provides tools, therapies and guidance to veterans severely injured in the line of duty. Since its inception in 2007, they have raised over $1 million for mobility devices and $13 million overall for wounded veterans.
