TrueWealth, a wealth management firm based in Atlanta, has been named as the top U.S. workplace for women by the Great Place to Work Institute and Fortune magazine.

The top 100 ranking is based on surveys of 135,689 women employees at 637 companies who were asked about everything from the fairness of promotions to access to leadership to the level of support for employees’ personal lives. Scores also took into account how well represented women are within the workforce, management and executive positions, according to FortuneGreat Place to Work  is a research, training and consulting firm.

“We are so proud of this honor, but honestly, it seems unusual to be reviewed as a best place specifically for women to work. We work hard to create a great place to work for everyone and it’s nice to have others take notice,” said Amy Merrill, principal at TrueWealth.

TrueWealth was formerly Windham Brannon Financial Group. The fee-only firm manages about $1 billion on behalf of 300 clients.
