Morrie Symson and David Mizrahi, former wirehouse advisors, have joined Washington Wealth Management (WWM), an independent hybrid registered Investment advisor supporting fee and commission-based independent advisor teams, Washington Wealth announced Thursday.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of broker-dealer NFP Advisor Services, San Diego-based WWM was established by wirehouse veterans to enable advisors with a wirehouse background to be independent. Symson and Mizrahi join Washington Wealth under different affiliation models.

Symson, who was most recently with UBS, has joined Pacific Point Asset Management, a WWM-affiliated firm. Mizrahi, formerly of Wells Fargo Advisors, has opened his own practice, First Point Financial Management. They bring a combined $150 million in assets under management to WWM.
