Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank Wealth Management will offer robo-advisory services to its U.S. Bancorp Investments clients.

On Thursday, U.S. Bank Wealth Management announced an agreement with San Francisco-based FutureAdvisor, a subsidiary of BlackRock, to provide digital advice to its clients starting in 2017.

“U.S. Bank Wealth Management is committed to serving clients where they are today and will be in the future, and that includes embracing robust technology strategies,” said Mark Jordahl, president of U.S. Bank Wealth Management, in a released statement. “Moving forward we believe this automated investing offering will complement the work of U.S. Bancorp Investments advisors as they provide goals-based planning to clients.”

U.S. Bank’s platform will combine FutureAdvisor’s technology with advice from a team of financial consultants. Clients will be offered portfolios designed by U.S. Bancorp Investments consisting of cost-efficient funds.

The service will be accessible for U.S. Bancorp accounts enrolled at usbank.com and through the company’s monile application.
