UBS Financial Services, Inc has hired away three veteran Bank of America-Merrill Lynch financial advisors who combined managed over $450 million last year, UBS officials said.

The three advisors-Makram Talia, Robert Loupee and Michael Graziani-will work at UBS' office in Farmington Hills, Mich, the company announced Monday. Talia and Loupee have been employed by Merrill Lynch for 33 years. Talia has served as a financial adviser for the entire time.

Loupee had served as director of Merrill Lynch's Auburn Hills Complex for five years overseeing Auburn Hills, Flint, Saginaw and the Lakeside branches before returning to his UBS advisory practice five years ago.

Graziani joined Merrill Lynch 16 years ago and has spent the past 14 years working on a team with Loupee.

All three advisers will report to John Bush, Complex Director for the Farmington Hills complex.

In addition to these advisors UBS corporate spokeswoman Emma Stradling said the company has added five teams with a combined $1.7 billion in assets in August.
