Andrew Rudd and Arthur Rubinfeld have joined United Capital Financial Partners’ board of directors, the firm announced today.

Rudd, Ph. D., is chairman and CEO of Advisor Software Inc. Earlier in his career, Rudd cofounded Barra Inc. in 1974, acting as chairman of the public company until its sale to Morgan Stanley in 2004. He then built Advisor Software, a provider of wealth management software to the financial services industry.

Rubinfeld is chief creative officer and president, global innovation, at Starbucks. On joining the board, Rubinfeld said, “My objective is to share my global perspective to enhance client engagement and drive creativity.”
