Chris Claus, president of USAA Financial Advice and Solutions Group, which oversees USAA Life Insurance and USAA Investment Management Co., said the company will also grow from within through its internal training programs, which will help it preserve its culture.
USAA has increased its compensation in areas where it requires a certain skill set, such as wealth management, to raise the caliber and competency of candidates, Claus said.
