Washington Wealth Management LLC, an independent hybrid registered investment advisor based in San Diego, has hired three advisors away form wirehouses, the firm announced Monday.

David Hughes, Scott Sade and Jonathan Woods have affiliated with the firm after departing from Wells Fargo Advisors and Morgan Stanley, respectively. Collectively, they managed about $290 million in total client assets.

Sade, who managed about $200 million in client assets at Morgan Stanley, heads a stand-alone independent practice, The Sade Group Private Wealth Management in Stuart, Fla. The Sade Group provides multigenerational financial planning to mass affluent individuals, families and small business owners as well as high-net-worth retirees.

Hughes, who managed about $50 million in client assets at Wells Fargo, heads a stand-alone independent practice, DJH Financial Services, in Woodland Hills, Calif. DJH Financial Services offers mass affluent and high-net-worth individuals access to traditional wealth management and financial planning advice.

As part of his transition, Woods, who managed about $40 million in client assets at Morgan Stanley, will head a stand-alone independent practice, Woods Asset Management. Headquartered in Darien, Conn. ,Woods Asset Management provides wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and families, with a special focus on portfolio management.
