Council On Education Appoints 2012 Chair

Carolynn Tomin brings expertise as a financial planning educator to council.
Carolynn Tomin, CFP, has been appointed to serve as the 2012 chair of the Council on Education. Tomin is currently program director for Boston University's Programs for Financial Planning. She has taught estate planning courses and exam reviews for 18 years at universities in Massachusetts and Florida. As co-founder of Beacon Hill Financial Educators, she presented continuing education courses to many financial firms, Napfa and the FPA.

The Council on Education advises CFP Board staff on the development and clarification of all educational policies related to the CFP certification process and provides input on policies that relate to CFP board-registered programs and Continuing Education Sponsors.
