Hefty Wealth Partners Names New Chief Investment Officer

David Abuaf appointed to investment committee of independent wealth management firm.

Hefty Wealth Partners, based in Auburn, Ind., has expanded its investment committee with the addition of David Abuaf as chief investment officer. Abuaf has extensive experience in market, economic and financial analysis. His previous positions include equity research analyst at Principled Capital Management and serving on the manager research and portfolio management teams at Corbin Capital and Morgan Stanley. Abuaf has also worked with Republic National Bank on the foreign exchange currency desk and with Bear Stearns' fixed-income derivatives team in London.

Hefty Wealth Partners is an independent wealth management firm founded in 2000, providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management strategies to individuals, families, small businesses and institutions.
