Summit Trail Advisors, a partner of Dynasty Financial Partners, is adding former Wilmington Trust advisors Jonathan D. Williams and Kevin C. Curtis to a new Harrisburg, Pa. office, according to a news release.

Williams and Curtis managed $1.5 billion in client assets at Wilmington Trust, which is a subsidiary of M&T Bank.

Williams, who worked at Wilmington Trust since 2008, most recently served as vice president, senior private client advisor. Curtis most recently served as private client advisor at Wilmington Trust.

The two will continue to serve the needs of ultra-high-net-worth private and public business owners and can now provide related services through Summit Trail’s network of attorneys, accountants, investment bankers and other professional advisors.

“Large, sophisticated clients expect unbiased advice with fee transparency, comprehensive reporting, and access to unique investment opportunities, ”Williams said in the release. “At Summit Trail, our interests are aligned with (those of) our clients.”

Curtis said that Summit Trail’s experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients provided a powerful resource on which he could rely in servicing the financial needs of his clients.

“Jon and I had been doing industry due diligence for a long time and it became evident shortly after meeting Summit Trail that they were different, very different,” Curtis said.

Jack Petersen, managing partner of Summit Trail, said that Williams and Curtis had a significant advisory practice with deep connections to their clients and the community.

“Their expertise, personal relationships with their small group of large clients, and high energy will contribute greatly to our firm’s culture of integrity and client dedication,” he said.
