RBC Wealth Management announced on Tuesday that a Princeton, N.J.-based team managing about $1.6 billion in assets has joined its platform from UBS.

The seven-member team, which operates as Princeton Financial Partners, includes financial advisors Michael Gara, managing director, who has 23 years of industry experience; Bruce Berman, senior vice president, who has 39 years of experience; Chad W. Goerner, senior vice president, who has 23 years of experience; and Dustin Illgen, vice president, who has 12 years of experience. They are joined by Jessica Ovrutsky, senior business associate, Claudia Peppard, registered client associate and Michele A. Nitti, senior client associate.

Gara said the team, which has a diverse clientele including many institutional legacy relationships and multi-generational wealthy families, bases its values on always acting in the best interests of the clients. “RBC Wealth Management’s client-first culture, along with the enhanced capabilities and resources of a global company, make it the right place for us to continue growing our business,” he said in a statement.
